To mark Remembrance Day our November talk covers the creation of the CWGC during WW1.
WW1, which saw for the first time the establishment not only of an organisation responsible for British and Commonwealth war graves but also the documented details of fatalities and the location of temporary war graves, which up until that time were not always recorded.
The CWGC still maintains all of our war graves in a wide variety of locations across the globe.
Talk approx 45 minutes with time for Q&A at the end.
Free entry, all welcome, donations gratefully received.
