Gunge the Teacher fundraising event & Springfest celebrations held at King's Lynn school
The academic year came to a sticky end for a few year 7 teachers at Springwood High.
Students donated money to see their chosen one ‘gunged’ with a bucket of green goo, to raise money for next summer's Springfest.
Head of year Victoria Mann says, “As the first part of fundraising for next year’s Springfest, Year 7 students were invited to enjoy watching some of their teachers get a thorough gunging.
“Much to students’ delight, and that of other staff that had come out to watch the event, we all finished our day very sticky and very much greener than when we had started it!”

And this year's Springfest has been enjoyed by students, the event is to celebrate the end of the academic year.
There were lots of activities, everything from a bouncy castle to a bucking bronco, along with music and refreshments.

It's for year 8 pupils who've successfully completed the Endeavour Programme.
The programme is made up of nine different challenges, aimed at developing young people’s independent thinking - with the children encouraged to try new experiences.

The students also helped organise and fund the all-day festival. Raising money through events, such as bake sales, penalty shoot outs and sports matches.
Looks like a lot of fun!
