A group of 8 cyclists bike to all Tapping House charity shops to raise money for hospice

The impressive fundraising journey started at Lynn's St Nicholas Retail Park - covering a total of 131 miles.

A group of eight cycling buddies joined Phil Davies and Jonathan Holmes of Lynn’s Priory Rotary, and Mike Douglass of King’s Lynn Rotary.

They set off just before 8, heading to all the Tapping House charity shops across West Norfolk, including Snettisham, Hunstanton, Burnham Market, Wells, Fakenham, Swaffham, Downham Market and Wisbech before finishing back at the St Nicholas store.

Members of the Tapping House team met and welcomed the cyclists at each of the stores en route.

The team finished just before 7 in the evening, averaging a speed of around 15 mph - impressive!

This ride is the precursor to an annual virtual cycling challenge, from now until the end of August, to raise funds for the charity - so far almost 2 thousand pounds has been donated.

The hospice provides care, comfort and compassion to those living with life-limiting illnesses.
