More than a hundred people take part in the race on Sunday in a not so sunny Hunstanton!
I chat to John Tarbard just as he’s crossed the finish line and is handed his medal.
“I’ve got jelly legs, but I’m still here”, the 79 year old smiles, “It must be about my eighth triathlon. When you get old, you’ve got to train, so it gives me a purpose.”

113 people took part in the event - a 200m swim, 18km cycle ride and a 3.5 km run.
Near to Hunstanton's war memorial, a marshal is cheering the runners on the final stretch of the race. And it is windy.

“This is the second one I’ve done one,” Claire Smithee tells me afterwards, “The first one was here 3 years ago, today’s a lot colder than my first time.
“I feel really good, kind of nervous this morning after not doing one for so long, but this is a really nice, friendly event.”

I stop Andrew Millis for a chat, it's his third Sunny Hunny Tri, "I absolutely love it. It’s brilliantly organised, loads of marshals, what’s not to like - apart from the wind today!”
I ask how he’ll be celebrating, “I don’t eat anything before, so I’m looking forward to a nice big breakfast.”

Ben Keeley came first in the race, with a time of 49:15, with George Munson coming fourth, in just over 52 minutes.
"A good PB," George tells me, "I'm happy, it went nicely, smooth - it was windy though. I’ve always been into running, and my mum started doing triathlons, so I thought I’d give it a go.”
Would he recommend them? “Definitely. It’s good fun and challenges you in different ways.”

Event organisers say, "Well, that's another year under our race belt.
"Thanks for everyone who took part and supported, especially with that wind."

The last person I chat to is Emma Law, who tells me she's exhausted, but pleased. She's been cheered on by her family, having not long had her third child (I'm doubly impressed).
"When you see or hear someone you know, or someone just cheer you on, it makes you want to go faster."

"I’m doing it for brain tumour research, I’ve got a close friend who’s very poorly, and I feel it’s the least I can do for him.”
Emma, who came 40th overall, adds, “I take my hat off to everyone who’s done the course.”
