Formed in 1874 Snettisham Cricket Club has over a hundred members, with NCA 1st team, NCL 2nd team, 1 team in the MNSCL, Ladies softball and hardball team, plus Junior teams.
"Snettisham Cricket Club is an important part of village life," says Andrew Grange as he arrives at the ground bearing his cheque for the Juniors.
Coach of the Ladies softball team, Michelle Knott, pictured far right above, expressed the club's thanks for his fundraising efforts and said the money may be used to take the juniors to a match somewhere.
Sponsors the Junior team Mike Rivers, who is the proprietor of Dersingham News and Post Office is there too, and Mike's 12-year-old grandson Tommy plays for the Junior team. "It's a great club for the youngsters," he says.
Wednesday evening is the practice night and as the field fills with parents, coaches and cricketers from 4 to - well I'm too polite to say, kit is assembled on various parts of the ground under a blue sky, bright sunshine while the beautiful St Mary's parish church dominates the skyline.
I talk to Claire Cousins, one of the All Stars' coaches who tells me that: "I've been coming to Snettisham Cricket Club as a parent for many, many years, my youngest daughter is now 15 and she started here when she was 5.
"As the children got a little bit older I decided to join in and become a coach, so now I'm a fully-qualified coach for All Stars, which is ages 4-8.

"We can have up to 20 very young children all at one time which is fun but slightly chaotic; we all get a lot out of being part of the cricket club, it has been great for our children, especially as they get older - my eldest daughter is now nearly 22 and she's a qualified coach helping out with the older children; we have really enjoyed our time here."
Fourteen-year-old Harry says he came to the club as a youngster, then had a break but has been back for a couple of months now - it's really, really good.
"It is a nice way to be out of doors, be active, stay active and everyone here is really welcoming, it's a nice environment to be in."
Charlie has been coming to the club for about four years he said: "I like meeting new people and learning new things."
