The result of the referendum about the proposed Neighbourhood Plan for Old Hunstanton has been announced.
Voters were asked to say yes or no to the following question: ‘Do you want the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Old Hunstanton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’
The whole village has 329 Registered residents, 94 of whom voted, that’s 28.6%. There were no rejected votes. There were 86 votes in favour (91.5%) and 8 against (8.5%)
The Referendum result means that the Parish Plan was adopted.
