Hundreds line the streets for the colourful parade to celebrate the town's carnival
"I'm just so happy," 10 year old Ruby tells me, eagerly waiting to start the procession.
Hunstanton's Rainbows, Brownies and Guides are busy with last minute preparations, most of them are already on the float they've decorated.
As Miya steps up and sits down, her and friend Brook tell me it feels high but it 'goes really slow', Miya adds, "I'll definitely be waving to everyone - and some kisses!"
Sarah Dennis-Burrell, who's in charge, adds, "The girls love it, we love dressing up, they spend time decorating the float, it's always in our calendar for the summer term - it's great fun."
A samba band starts the parade, lead by the mayor, and you can't help but (try to) dance along - it heads towards the high street and ends on The Green - the streets lined with people.
As the parade passes by I spot Mr Blobby, Super Mario's Luigi and one of the Teletubbies, who're all members of Shelley's Keep Fit classes in the town.
The teletubbie is Shelley herself, "We've done it for quite a few years now, it's a good atmosphere, brings the town together - everyone joins in it's lovely!"
I ask what the outfit's like in the heat, she laughs and says, "It's warm, but I'll recover with a stiff drink later!"
We wave to the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides as they pass - there's also a vintage car, Morris dancers, children from Dersingham's Rollaston Stage School, residents of Driftwood House care home, members of the Ukrainian community and two entertainers who're stilt walking.
"We're really enjoying it," says Lisa, who's here from Ruby Flames Entertainment, "We've done it for a few years now and it's always good and always fun. Everyone's really friendly and really positive."
And then it's to The Green, which is full of people, making the most of the live music.
Since Friday there have been local bands and tribute acts performing, with plenty of food and stalls nearby.
As if that wasn't enough a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight then took to the skies - a big well done to all those involved in organising such a fantastic community event!
