Organised by Snettisham Events Committee the day included a Fun Dog Show, Classic Cars, Stalls, Games, YOUR Choir, KL1 Radio, Rides, Inflatables, Food, Drink and more.
A quintessential part of English country life, the village fayre in Snettisham is a proper community event involving local organisations and charities.
The festivities began with a Fun Dog Show with 15 separate classes judged by Hoochy Pooch Parlour and Westbury Walks and commentary from KL1's Paul Baker.
Much needed shade came in the form of the refreshment tents and the food trucks and stalls were kept busy throughout the day, the games and inflatables were a great hit and Ken Plasters was on hand in his First Aid capacity.

YOUR Choir, conducted by Mike Tandy provided the entertainment in the afternoon.
An addition this year were tours of the renovation works in the Pavilion. Stuart Dark and project architect Steve Sharp took small groups around the building, which although retaining the original footprint seems so much bigger. Steve explained that the building has had the roof angle increased to 45 degrees and a first floor has been added that can accommodate up to sixty people.
The balcony is yet to be completed, however a small window had been made to show what a wonderful view the building will have of the field and St Mary's Church once the windows are installed and balcony added. Incidentally there will be space for 30 people (of the total of 60 allowed on the first floor under fire regulations) on the balcony.

Downstairs there are four changing rooms, a 'tuck shop' and separate changing facilites for sports officials.
Stuart was keen to show visitors how flexible the design was, and he's pictured here showing one visitor where the lift would be installed. The whole building is accessible to everyone, the doorways have been widened for wheelchairs and accessible toilets are to be installed.
