Dersingham's Iron & Brass Bed Company to host fundraising pop-up kitchen to thank palliative care ward for taking care of a loved one during his final days

The fundraising event is being held after company founder Amanda Oldfield’s father received end-of-life care earlier this year.

Amanda says, “This event is our way of saying thank you and helping support the incredible work they do for other families during such difficult times.”

The pop-up kitchen will take place on Saturday 28th June from 10:00am at Dersingham Village Hall, and run alongside the popular Craft and Gift Fair.

The Oldfield family are also hosting a charity raffle on the day.  All proceeds and donations going directly towards the Peddars Way Unit.

The unit, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, provides a calm and dignified environment, allowing patients to spend their final hours surrounded by loved ones in comfort and privacy.

Amanda adds, "The team gave our family precious support at the hardest possible time.

"We hope this event can help ensure other families continue to receive that same level of care and dignity."

The family's appealing for raffle prize donations, raffle tickets can be bought on the day or from June 22nd at the company's showroom in Dersingham.
