It has now reported that the whale has been washed back out to sea during the high tide this afternoon.
Recovery was due to take place today or tomorrow before the whale was taken away by the tide.
Hunstanton Coastguard confirmed that the incident was being handled by the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR).
